Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court demanding the reinstatement of the House of Representatives. Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress, Shyam Kumar Ghimire, Whip Sushila Thing, among others, had filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court demanding reinstatement of the House of Representatives.
However, the writ petition has not been registered. A total of 8 lawmakers of the dissolved House of Representatives, including Nepali Congress Chief Whip Ghimire, have filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
