Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Limited in partnership with FonePay Payment Services Limited has launched Siddhartha FonePay Credit Card for its customers. It ushers customers into a new era of fully digital, secure and easy access to credit.

The card was unveiled by Mr. Rameshwor Prasad Basyal, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Siddhartha Bank amidst the grand ground launch of Nepal Premier League (NPL).

It provided remarkable visibility at one of the country’s largest sporting events. With this, Siddhartha Bank has become one of Nepal’s first and only prominent financial institutions to provide fully virtual credit cards through its mobile banking app.

The Siddhartha FonePay Credit Card enables users to make fast, secure and contactless payments across 1.8 million FonePay QR merchants across the country. You don’t need a physical card.

Designed for today’s digitally active consumers, the card comes with features like instant activation, real-time control, and advanced security that make daily payments more simple and effortless.

As part of the special launch offer, Siddhartha Bank and FonePay are providing 50% cashback (maximum Rs. 750) for new users. The offer, which is limited duration, encourages users to experience the convenience of QR based credit payments right from the beginning.
