. Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Keshav Kumar Sharma, said that bringing the Integrated Procurement Act in Nepal could be a preliminary mistake. In his address to a dialogue on ‘sick contract management’ jointly organized by Society of Infrastructure Journalists and Federation of Contractors’ Association of Nepal in the capital today, Minister Bhattarai said that a single act would not cover all sectors as there are different problems and specialities depending to the sector.
According to him, the main reason why there is still no procurement act in India is that the needs of different sectors are different.TAG_OPEN_p_7 “If the dot pen and the aircraft purchase act are the same, then there will be a problem,” he said, “Therefore, in India, many things are resolved through contract agreements. ”
