PM Karki meets Sudhan Gurung

. KATHMANDU: Sudan Gurung, a leader of the Genji movement, called on Prime Minister Sushila Karki today.

During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, Gurung enquired about the progress made in the agreement to be signed between the government and Jenji, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

He said the agreement process should be concluded soon to give legitimacy to the Jenji movement and be signed by the president.

He also complained that some youths were arrested by the police for participating in the agitation and had to go to jail for investigation even though they did not have the money to pay the bail.
