Stock market declines

Kathmandu. On Tuesday, the third trading day of the week, the stock market saw a slight improvement. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index increased by 7.39 points to close at 2,614.07 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 0.30 points, while the Float Index has increased by 0.39 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 0.10 points.

Although the stock market rose on Tuesday, the trading volume decreased. Shares worth Rs 4.66 billion were traded on Monday and Rs 3.75 billion was traded on Tuesday.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of five sub-groups have increased while the indices of four sub-groups have fallen. The indices of development banks, finance, hotel and tourism, hydropower, investment, life insurance, production and processing, mutual fund and other sub-groups increased slightly.

Shares of three companies traded at positive circuit levels today. Shares of Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Srinagar Agritech Industries and Upper Mailung Khola Hydropower Ltd were traded in the positive circuit level on the day.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd is in the top position on the basis of turnover on the day. The company’s shares worth Rs 31.92 crore were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Laxmi Sunrise Bank worth more than Rs 11 crore were traded today.
