Dang. KATHMANDU: A passenger bus (Na 8 Kha 7455) en route to Kathmandu from Dadeldhura met with an accident at Kaudiyapul in Lamahi municipality-1 along the East-West Highway today, injuring 22 passengers.

According to Roshan Raj Pandey, Police Inspector at Lamahi-based Ward Police Office, the bus fell into the river from the bridge this morning.

Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal Army and locals have been mobilized to rescue the injured and take them to Lamahi Hospital. There were 38 passengers on the bus.
