Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today.
According to the fixed exchange rate, the price of the US dollar has reached an all-time high. As per the exchange rate, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 144.37 and the selling rate at Rs 144.97.
Similarly, the selling rate of Euro 1 was fixed at Rs 169.24 and Rs 169.95, while the selling rate of UK pound sterling was fixed at Rs 193.02 and the selling rate of Swiss Franc 1 was fixed at Rs 181.48 and Rs 182.24.
The selling rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 96.19 rupees and 96.59 paise, while the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at 104.91 rupees and 105.34 paise.
Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.26 and selling rate was Rs 9.29, while the selling rate of Chinese Yuan was Rs 20.46 and the selling rate of Saudi Arabian Riyal 1 was Rs 38.47 and the selling rate was Rs 38.63.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Bat 1 is Rs 4.58 and selling rate is Rs 4.60, the selling rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 39.31 and the selling rate is Rs 39.47. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 15.53 and the selling rate of Danish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 22.66 and Rs 22.75.
The central bank has set the selling rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 at Rs 18.54 and the selling rate of one is Rs 18.62, the buying rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is Rs 470.58 and the selling rate is Rs 472.54, the buying rate of Bahrain Dinar 1 is Rs 382.97 and the selling rate is Rs 384.56. The selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 100 for buying and Rs 100.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
