Kathmandu. At least 10 people were killed in a shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach today.

Police in Sydney say at least 10 people have been killed in an attack by an unidentified group. Two people have been taken into custody in connection with the incident, police said.

Many members of the Jewish community gathered on the beach for the holiday to celebrate the 8-day long Jewish festival of Hanukkah, which is celebrated by lighting lamps in the evening.

According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, at least 16 people have been taken to hospital. Many are being treated on the spot.
