Kathmandu. The government has appointed Dr. Pramod Kumar as the vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission. The cabinet has decided to appoint Prakash Kumar Shrestha.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today appointed Dr. Pramod Kumar as the vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission. Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel, who is also the government spokesperson, said that the government has decided to appoint Shrestha to the post of vice-chairperson of the commission.
According to him, Prof. Dr. Suniti Shrestha has been appointed. Shrestha has already served as a member of the commission. Shrestha is also the executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank.
