Petrol, diesel and kerosene prices cut

Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of diesel and kerosene. A meeting of the Board of Directors of the NOC has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by Rs four per litre to be effective from midnight today. The price of petrol has been increased by two rupees per liter.

With the price adjustment, the price of diesel and kerosene will be Rs 139.50 per liter for the first class, Rs 141 for the second class and Rs 142 for the third class.TAG_OPEN_div_15 Similarly, the price of petrol in the first class will be Rs 160.50 per litre, Rs 162 per litre and Rs 163 per litre in the third class.

Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj depots have been categorized as first class, Surkhet and Dang depots in the second class and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal in the third category.TAG_OPEN_div_13 The retail price will be applicable up to 15 kilometers from the NOC’s depot.

However, the corporation has kept the price of aviation fuel and cooking gas unchanged.TAG_OPEN_div_11

According to the new purchase price of petroleum products received from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) today, the price of diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs 6.93 per liter and the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 1.94 per liter.TAG_OPEN_div_9
