Kathmandu. The government has decided to accept concessional loan of around Rs 14.38 billion to be provided by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for public financial management and transfer programme.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday decided to waive the profit tax levied while handing over 1-15-10 bigha of land in Lahan Municipality and the building constructed thereon to Ram Kumar Sharada Uma Prasad Murarka Provincial Hospital.
The meeting decided to form a delegation under the coordination of Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to participate in the ninth meeting of Nepal-India joint agriculture working committee to be held in Kathmandu from December 28-29, according to government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel.
The government has also approved the temporary vacancy for eight officer level posts for the Irrigation Modernization Project under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development for the remaining period of the current fiscal year. The meeting has also given prior approval to conduct the survey of organization and management of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the bodies concerned.
The cabinet also decided to transfer Additional Inspectors General of APF Narayan Dutta Poudel, Banshi Raj Dahal and Ganesh Bahadur Thadamagar. The meeting also decided to promote two Colonels of the Nepal Army to Brigadier Generals and one Colonel to Colonels while transferring six Major General and seven Colonels, according to Minister for Information and Communications and Communications Spokesperson Kharel.
