Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Ncell Foundation has announced to provide educational materials worth 2,428 to the students of various government and community schools across the country as part of the commitment made during the second edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL).
In continuation with the social initiative of distributing four course books at every intersection, Ncell has also pledged to provide educational materials at every crossroads in the second edition of the NPL. The initiative, launched last year, combines the excitement of cricket with meaningful academic support, and the boundaries that have been hit on the field have helped students to learn. This initiation reflects Ncell Foundation’s commitment to education.
During this year’s NPL, 99 players hit a total of 607 fours, ensuring the distribution of 2,428 educational materials. Adam Rossington of Pokhara Avengers was the top scorer with 31 fours to ensure the distribution of 124 educational materials. Likewise, Darcy Short of Lumbini Lions finished second with 26 fours while Binod Bhandari of Sudurpaschim Royals hit 23 fours to ensure the distribution of 92 educational materials.
The purpose of this educational material distribution initiative is to help students learn by addressing the lack of necessary educational resources. Each kit contains a school bag, stationery, stationery, school stationery, school stationery, pickpocket, pencil, sharpener, eraser and other study essentials.

This year too, Ncell has been a ‘Powered Buy’ partner of NPL. The company had awarded Rs 25,000 to the player who hit the highest number of fours in each match of the second edition. Adam Rossington of Pokhara Avengers was rewarded with Rs 2 lakhs for hitting the highest four in the second edition of the tournament.
Last year, the foundation pledged to provide more than 2,612 educational materials from the 653 fours hit in the first edition of the NPL. In line with its commitment, the Foundation has distributed more than 9,000 educational materials across the country with 2,612 content that has empowered thousands of students with the necessary educational content.
This year too, the educational materials will be distributed in coordination with Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), local bodies and partner organization Karma Yoga Foundation.
