Insurance Company pays claim of Rs 11.15 crore for floods and landslides

. Non-life insurance companies have so far paid claims of Rs 11.15 crore for physical and other damages caused by rains and landslides. A total of 790 insurance claims were filed for floods and landslides last September. A claim of Rs 4.18 billion has been filed in the case.

As per the updated data received from 13 various non-life insurance companies and 2 micro non-life insurance companies, out of 417 initial claims towards property insurance from non-life insurance companies amounting to about Rs 3.58 billion, 33 insurance claims about Rs 96.4 million and engineering and contract risk insurance claims about Rs 9.57 crore out of 107 insurance claims amounting to about Rs 515.7 million.TAG_OPEN_div_14 The payment has been made.

Similarly, out of the total claim amount of about Rs TAG_OPEN_div_12 4.14 crore for 210 claims under agriculture and crop insurance, a total of 42 claims have been made. According to the updated data, out of 40 insurance claims of Rs 2.82 crores, 12 claims have been paid to the insured and about Rs 1.1 million has been paid to the insured for four insurance claims under marine insurance.

Similarly, the payment process for 10 claims under motor insurance (public) and about Rs 1.2 million for two claims under microinsurance has not started yet.TAG_OPEN_div_10
