Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has declared a dividend for its shareholders.

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Wednesday has declared dividend to the shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year.

The company has proposed 8.5 percent cash dividend and 4 percent bonus shares. It has also proposed a cash dividend of 0.65 percent for tax purposes.

The proposal will be approved by the Insurance Authority and approved by the next general meeting of the company.
