Kathmandu. The office-bearers of Nepal Overseas Export Import Association and Nepal Chamber of Commerce held discussions on the situation of business, future prospects and mutual interests. Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) Chairman Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Honorary Vice President Arjun Prasad Sharma and Vice-President Santosh Pandey were present in the program. On behalf of the association, President Shiva Kumar Agrawal along with office-bearers and members of the working committee were present.
Speaking at the program, President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Shiva Kumar Agrawal said that Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Nepal Overseas Export Import Association (NCCI) and Nepal Overseas Export Import Association (NCCI) have a history of 75 and 50 years respectively.
He also said that they are trying to boost the morale of the union members in the current situation where there is confusion among the businessmen. He said that the cooperation of private sector organizations including the Chamber would provide positive energy to the entrepreneurs.
He said that the Chamber is one of the most influential organizations in the private sector and other organizations should learn from the chamber and move ahead and the chamber should guide them. On the occasion, NCC President Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal urged the participants to utilize the opportunity to invest in the country.
“It’s such a challenging time to invest. Entrepreneurs have to look for opportunities within the challenge, and opportunities are within the challenges. Whoever can invest now will succeed,” he said. “There is a lot of liquidity in the bank right now. They are ready to lend money. At this time, those who work by taking loans with cheap interest rates get good returns. ’
He also said that the Chamber was ready to move ahead hand-in-hand with the private sector organizations. He also shed light on various dimensions of the Chamber movement.
