Kathmandu. The CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli-led faction has won the party’s 11th general convention.

Out of 19 office-bearers, 17 have been elected to the Oli panel. Only 2 candidates from the Ishwar Pokharel faction have been elected to the post of president.

Shankar Pokhrel and Oli have been elected to the post of chairman and general secretary respectively. Chairman Oli got 1663 votes.

Likewise, Prithvi Subba Gurung got 1737 votes, Bishnu Prasad Poudel got 1675 votes, Ram Bahadur Thapa got 1516 votes, Gokarna Raj Bista got 1368 votes and Raghuji Pant got 1258 votes. General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel got 1228 votes.

For the post of deputy general secretary, Lekhraj Bhatta got 1452 votes, Yogesh Bhattarai got 1348 votes and Raghubir Mahaseth got 1368 votes.

Likewise, Mahesh Basnet got 1544 votes, Padma Kumari Aryal got 1530 votes, Chhabilal Bishwakarma got 1506 votes, Sherdhan Rai got 1503 votes, Hikmat Kumar Karki got 1337 votes, Khagaraj Adhikari got 1231 votes, Yamlal Kandel got 1185 votes, Rajan Bhattarai got 1181 votes and Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal got 1108 votes.
