Kathmandu. The 11th general convention of the CPN-UML has elected new office-bearers under the leadership of KP Sharma Oli.

Among the 19 new office-bearers of the UML, Prithvi Subba Gurung got the highest number of votes. He got 1737 votes.

Bishnu Prasad Poudel is second with the highest number of votes. Poudel got 1675 votes. Oli garnered 1663 votes. Oli is in the third position in terms of getting the most votes.

Mahesh Basnet is in the fourth position with the highest number of votes for the secretary category. He got 1544 votes.

CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel is in the 16th position. He got 1228 votes.

Bhanubhakta Dhakal got the lowest number of votes. He got 1108 votes.

Vice-chairman of the Ishwar Pokharel faction, Gokarna Bista, who has been elected as the new office-bearer of the CPN-UML, is in the 10th position. He got 1368 votes.

Deputy General Secretary of Pokharel Group, Yogesh Bhattarai, is in the 12th position. He garnered 1348 votes.
