Kathmandu. Butwal Power Company has called its general meeting. The general meeting of the company has been called to approve the dividend to be distributed to its investors from the last fiscal year.

The AGM of the company will be held on January 28 at Karki Banquet, Babarmahal, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. The AGM will endorse a proposal of distributing 6 percent cash dividend on the current paid-up capital.

Similarly, the meeting will endorse the financial assistance amount given to various organizations and individuals in the last fiscal year, to elect 4 directors to fill the vacant positions in the board of directors, and to appoint an auditor.

The company is closing its book from January 29 to 28 for the AGM and dividend distribution. As per the agreement, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till December 30 will be able to participate in the AGM and receive the dividend to be distributed by the company.
