Kathmandu. Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) has handed over financial assistance to the Department of Transport Management and Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office.
The assistance was handed over to the departments and offices that were damaged during the Genji agitation on September 23 and 24.
NIMA has provided the reconstruction of all the windows and doors of the main building of the Department of Transport Management and furniture, furnishings, computers, printers and other materials to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office.
On the occasion, Director General of Department of Transport Management, Rajib Pokharel, said that NIMA’s support during the emergency situation was significant.
Similarly, Chief of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office and Senior Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari appreciated the institutional support provided by NAIMA and its members.
Stating that NIMA has been able to establish long-term partnership and partnership with the traffic office within a short span of its establishment, he described the organization as a reliable partner of traffic education and management.
Speaking at the program, President Ritu Singh Vaidya said that she was proud to be able to provide this small help in this hour of crisis. She said that collaboration with the agencies involved in public service delivery is the working concept of NIMA. She pledged to further strengthen such cooperation in the coming days.
