Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel paid off the death of the deceased at a function organized by the Department of Postal Services under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and co-organized by Goyal Foundation in Kathmandu on Tuesday evening. He released a postage stamp of Rs 10 with Goyal’s photograph.
On the occasion, Minister Kharel. Recalling Goyal’s contribution to the society, he said that even though he does not have a physical body, his deeds have made him a late leader. He said that Goyal has been immortalized.
“The meaning of living is fulfilled by helping others. Living for others is prestige and immortal,” Minister Kharel said. Goyal’s contribution to others has earned him a postage stamp. His work for the society has made him immortal. ”
Director General of Department of Postal Services Manmaya Pangeni Om Prakash Goyal said that the postage stamp with his name and photo was used in recognition of his contribution to the society.
On this occasion, Chairman of Goyal Foundation, Kailash Chandra Goel, said that his father late Highlighting Goel’s contribution to social service, the Group is moving ahead as per the knowledge, skills, experience and guidance of late Om Prakash Goel, the founder of the group. He was the late Goyal has always been active in the areas of drinking water, health and education.
He was involved in the construction of school buildings, cowsheds, establishment of various temples and shrines, construction of buildings required for various social works. He said that Goyal has contributed. He was the son of his late “The Goyal family will always be indebted to the government and the Department of Postal Services for honouring their father’s lifetime of service,” he said.
