Kathmandu. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has stated that there will be power cut in various places of the capital Kathmandu today.

Issuing a notice, the NEA has stated that power will be cut from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm today in various places under the Panipokhari feeder and hospital feeder.

According to NEA, there will be power cut in areas around Lazimpat, Panipokhari, Maharajgunj and Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. According to NEA’s Maharajgunj distribution center, power supply will also be cut off in the areas around the President House, Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police and Nepal Police Hospital.

The Central and North Distribution System Strengthening Project has been working underground in the Kathmandu Valley and the power supply will be cut off for the purpose of connecting the cable that has already been completed. It is mentioned in the notice that electricity will be supplied if the work is completed before the scheduled time.
