Kathmandu. Kumari Bank Limited is auctioning the collateral of Sumeru Hospital, Shankarapur Academy and Asian College for Advanced Studies.
Kumari said that she is going to auction the collateral after the loan taken by all the three companies has not been repaid. The government has called for a 15-day secret sealed tender for the sale of the collateral.
According to the bank, the borrower has been negligent in writing and verbally informing the bank time and again to pay the principal interest, penalty interest, etc. that are to be paid from time to time.
According to the bank, the bank has violated the restrictions related to the loan by not paying the loan despite repeated reminders. The bank had issued a 35-day public notice to the borrower to pay the entire loan, interest on the loan, penal interest and other fees.
As the borrower has not paid the principal interest, penal interest etc. of the loan to be paid to the bank, the bank is going to sell the property mortgaged as security of the loan and its liabilities in whatever condition and quantity.
