Kathmandu. On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market rose by double digits. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index increased by 47.55 points to close at 2,633.42 points.
Today, the NEPSE index increased by 1.83 percent. The Sensitive Float Index has increased by 8.25 points, while the Float Index has increased by 3.40 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 2.87 points.
Similarly, shares worth Rs 5.53 billion were traded on Sunday. Shares worth Rs 3.22 billion were traded on the last trading day of the previous week. There was also an improvement in the transaction amount on Sunday compared to the previous trading day.
All the 13 sub-groups that were traded today increased. Today, the share prices of finance sub-groups, development bank sub-groups and other sub-groups increased by more than 2 percent. Share prices of 6 sub-groups have increased by more than 1 percent while the share prices of other sub-groups have increased by more than 1 percent.
Shares of Mead Solu Hydropower Company Ltd. rose the most by 9.49 percent today. The share price of Win Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has hit the negative circuit today.
On the basis of turnover, Union Hydropower is in the top position today. The company’s shares worth Rs 27.60 crore were traded today. Similarly, shares of Manjushree Finance worth Rs 24.5 crore were traded today, while the turnover of Synergy Power Development crossed Rs 22.5 crore.
