Times College signs MoU with One Cover to provide cybersecurity education in Nepal

Kathmandu. The Times International College and One Cover Pvt. Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to produce skilled cybersecurity human resources by prioritizing cybersecurity education in Nepal. The strategic partnership agreement signed in Kathmandu on Monday is an important milestone towards integrating technical expertise with academic excellence.

By equipping Nepali students with practical, industry-relevant skills, we aim to produce cybersecurity experts, leveraging OneCover’s technological capabilities leading in cybersecurity solutions and consulting in Nepal.

Executive Chairman of The Times International College, Sujan Aryal, underscored the college’s commitment to provide high quality technical education. “This partnership is a bridge between theoretical knowledge and the practical demands of the global tech industry,” he said.

Chiranjibi Adhikari, CEO of One Cover Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the importance of early exposure in security practices and aims to secure the future of digital infrastructure in Nepal by imparting practical knowledge on cybersecurity.

The MoU has been put forward as an initial term of three years. Both sides committed to work on joint research and development projects to address emerging threats such as AI-driven cyberattacks and data privacy challenges in the Nepali context.
