Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has urged one and all to cooperate to establish a stable democracy by maintaining peace and tranquility in the country.

PM Karki made this request during a meeting with Durga Prasain, leader of Save Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizen Campaign at Baluwatar this morning.

Prime Minister Karki urged the government to put forth their demands and dissatisfaction through peaceful means as the country could no longer tolerate instability and unrest.

Stating that the country was in the midst of elections, she clarified that the only way out for democracy was to get the people to endorse their agendas.

“We have brought the country back to peace and order from a very difficult situation,” she said. In such a situation, we expect a responsible role from all sides. Let’s all be responsible thinking that this country is mine too. ’

On the occasion, PM Karki urged Prasain to maintain peace and presented him with a portrait of Gautam Buddha, the symbol of peace.

“We are also in favour of justice,” she said, adding, “We have not come here to enjoy power and pleasures.” We have started the process of ending corruption and providing justice to the exploited and victimized class. Although the results of everything are not seen overnight, we are laying the foundation. The government is also doing its homework to address some of the legitimate issues you have raised. We will discuss further. ’
