Kathmandu. An aircraft of Buddha Air has crashed on the runway at Bhadrapur Airport in Jhapa.
An official of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said that the ATR-72 aircraft with call sign 9N-MF skidded off the runway while landing. There were 51 passengers on board.
All are said to be safe. Locals and security personnel have rescued the aircraft.
