Kathmandu. In 2025, Nepal received 1,158,459 tourists.

According to Nepal Tourism Board, 98,190 tourists visited Nepal in December 2025. At the same time, 1,158,459 foreign tourists visited Nepal in 2025.

Similarly, a total of 1,147,548 tourists visited Nepal in 2024. The number of tourists visiting Nepal has increased last year as compared to the previous year.

The highest number of tourists visiting Nepal are from India. A total of 2,92,438 tourists from India have visited Nepal. A total of 112,316 tourists have come from the United States.

Tourists from China (95,480), the UK (58,684), Bangladesh (57,545), Australia (49,357), Sri Lanka (37,550), Thailand (30,243), Germany (30,227) and Japan (24,763) visited Nepal in 2025.
