Rupandehi. A police team deployed from the District Police Office, Rupandehi and its subordinate units seized goods worth Rs 8 lakh in two days.
According to the police, goods worth Rs 871,000 were confiscated in course of checking at different places of the district on January 2 and 20.
Information Officer of the Office and Deputy Superintendent of Police Suraj Karki said that the illegal goods, the vehicles used to bring the goods and the people involved have been taken under control and sent to the Livestock Quarantine Office and Bhairahawa Customs Office, Belahiya for necessary action.
