Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank has announced the merger of 17 branches in Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts.
The bank is going to merge its branches at Nagpokhari, Putalisadak, Durbarmarg, Gyaneshwor and Bagbazar. The distance of these branches ranges from 600 meters to 1.5 kilometers.
Similarly, the branch of Bohoratar, Machhapokhari and Dhungedhara-Narsari Chowk of Kathmandu will be merged and Balaju branch will be opened. Its distance ranges from 900 meters to 1.9 kilometers.
Similarly, New Road, Khichapokhari, Bhotahiti and Kilagal branches will be merged and New Road Bishal Bazaar branch will be opened. Its distance is 300 to 500 meters. Likewise, the Jawalakhel branch will be established by merging the branches of Lagankhel and Mangal Bazaar in Lalitpur district. Its distance ranges from 1700 meters to 2 kilometers.
Similarly, the Sanepa branch will be merged at Pulchowk, while the Gwarko and Khumaltar branches will be merged to form Satdobato and Khokana branch will be formed as Bhaisepati. According to the bank, these branches will be merged with each other from April 17, 2083.
According to the bank, the customers of these branches can avail all the banking services from the merged branch.
