Kathmandu. Police have arrested two persons in possession of brown heroin from Deepsagar Hotel at Gongabu of Tokha municipality-9 last night.

The arrestees have been identified as Mahendra Tamang, 26, of Belkotgadhi municipality-11 and Niruta Adehi Magar, 22, of Dhorpatan municipality in Baglung.

According to the Central Police News Room, a police team deputed from the Police Sector Gongabu seized the contraband during a search of room number 515 of the hotel.

Meanwhile, police have arrested 25 people in possession of banned drugs from different parts of the country. They were arrested from Jhapa, Dang, Sunsari, Morang, Rupandehi, Siraha and Kailali, among other districts.
