Kathmandu. Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Mahabir Pun, has said that he was not interested to go abroad as the Minister as the country’s economy would not improve the country’s economy.

Minister Pun clarified through social media that he had received invitations for three foreign trips and programmes before this, but he had not been invited.

“Unless the country’s economy improves, no matter which prime minister and finance minister comes in, there will be no progress because we need money to do something. Can the economy be built by traveling abroad?” he asked. He also announced the invitation he has received to participate in the ministerial meeting to be held in Jerusalem, Israel from February 4-6 and Human Capacity Initiative to be held in Saudi Arabia from May 3-4.
