Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: As many as 49 per cent of the delegates have signed in favour of the special general convention of the Nepali Congress.
It is said that 49.34 percent of the delegates have signed the inauguration of the special general convention today.
There are 4743 general convention delegates in the Congress. A total of 54 percent of the delegates had signed and demanded a special general convention.
General Secretary duo Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma have called for the special general convention after the party establishment faction ignored the demand made earlier.
