Chitwan. Chitwan Business Complex Hotel Pvt. Ltd. (CBC) will be managed by the Indian chain Hotel Lord’s Inn Hotel and Resort. An agreement was signed between the two companies on Monday. It is expected to further promote Nepal’s tourism business.

The CBC located in front of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10 Airport was constructed in partnership with leading entrepreneurs of the district. The agreement was signed between Dinap Baral, Executive Chairman of CBC, and Shailage Ann Terry, Associate Vice President of the resort.

The hotel has been named Lord’s CBC Plaza. Speaking at the signing ceremony, TERI said that they have managed 70 hotels in India, one in the US and the third in Nepal. After Kathmandu and Nepalgunj, they have started managing hotels in Bharatpur. Stating that this is the 74th hotel under his group, he said that they are managing one more hotel in Kathmandu and one in Biratnagar.

This year, Lord’s Group is preparing to manage 15 more hotels in different countries. He said that since it runs on a chain, it will be marketed in the world market and will bring guests. The group has been managing three-star to five-star hotels. He said that 74 hotels have more than 3,000 rooms and the annual occupancy rate is more than 50 percent.

On the occasion, Executive Chairman of CBC Baral informed that the shopping store ‘Salesbury’ is operating in the same complex along with Hotel ‘Lords’, CBC Plaza. He said that these services have been operated in a complex spread over one lakh seven thousand square feet.

According to him, the 11-storey complex has two floors of underground parking, three floors of Salesbury’s and a hotel on six floors. He expressed his confidence that the collaboration with Lord’s, who has run chain hotels in various internationally renowned countries, would help promote the business.

The hotel has 60 rooms. Among them, Presidential One, Sweet 3, Super Deluxe 10, Premium 15 and the rest are standard rooms. The hotel has a 500-capacity conference hall, a conference hall with a capacity of 100 and three meeting rooms with a capacity of 30.

The restaurant has the capacity to accommodate 125 people sitting inside and outside at the same time. There is a swimming pool on the top floor of the building. As per the agreement, 10 percent discount on food and 25 percent discount on rooms.
