Kathmandu. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance (LIC) has concluded its ninth annual general meeting in Kathmandu on Tuesday. The AGM was held under the chairmanship of Samjhana Aryal, Chairman of Board of Directors of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited.

The meeting has endorsed the auditor’s report and annual report for the fiscal year 2081÷82. The AGM has endorsed a proposal of distributing 8.421 percent dividend to its shareholders from the distributable profit of the last fiscal year 2081÷82. Out of the total distribution, 4 percent dividend and 4.421 percent cash dividend have been approved.

In addition, the committee has approved the financial statements including the annual report, auditor’s report, balance sheet, profit and loss account and cash flow of the previous fiscal year.

The company had closed its book on January 21 for the purpose of dividend distribution. Based on the book close, only the shareholders of NEPSE till January 20 will be eligible to receive the dividend.
