This new technological upgrade further strengthens the digital ecosystem of GLI EX5’s vehicles, strengthening Jili’s presence in the fast-growing electric vehicle market in Nepal.

Apple and Android CarPlay support system will integrate safety, convenience, and connectivity with the driver’s smartphone to significantly elevate the overall driving experience.

The software update will allow drivers to call, send or receive messages and be guided without having to hold their phone with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity Siri or hands-free voice commands powered by Google Ascent. This helps to keep your hands on the steering and eyes focused on the road, enhancing the riding experience.

The new support system mirrors the familiar smartphone interface onto the vehicle’s inbuilt display, where large, clear icons and intuitive layout allow for easy driving apps, such as Maps, Spoti, and Messenger. CarPlay provides higher sound quality for music and podcasts compared to normal Bluetooth connectivity, making the in-car entertainment experience even richer.

In addition, apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze allow you to get real-time navigation and traffic updates, and secure management of calls and notifications. The system integrates fully with existing vehicle controls including the touchscreen, steering wheel buttons and inbuilt microphone, thereby providing a smooth, integrated and user-friendly driving environment.

This feature has been rolled out worldwide following high customer demand in the international markets where the EX5 is sold, and has now been implemented in Nepal to ensure that Nepali consumers get the same level of advanced in-car technology.

LRR Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of the ZLeEX5 in Nepal, is offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support for all ZLeEX5 vehicles sold since its launch. According to the company, service teams are installing these features in a convenient location, such as the customer’s home or office, which makes the upgrade process hassleless.
