Kathmandu. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has stated that power supply will disrupt in some places of the capital city today. NEA, through a notice, has decided to cut off power supply in various places under Maharajgunj Distribution Centre.

The Kathmandu Valley Central and North Distribution System Strengthening Project is working to lay the distribution system underground for the President’s Office, Shital Niwas. Similarly, there is going to be a power cut for connecting technical equipment to the underground cables.

According to NEA, power will be cut off from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm today in areas around Panipokhari feeder Shangri-la Hotel, Lazimpat, different areas of Panipokhari, Maharajgunj, Bibhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

Similarly, there will be power cuts in and around the President’s House, Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police and Nepal Police Hospital from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

According to the information, there will be power cut in areas around Baluwatar, Chundevi and Panchakanya until the same period. NEA has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the power cut. NEA has stated that electricity supply can be done even before that if the scheduled work is completed before the stipulated time.
