Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress (NC) faction led by Sher Bahadur Deuba has reached the Supreme Court today.

The Deuba-led group has moved the Supreme Court (SC) challenging the legitimacy of the Gagan Thapa-led new committee and demanding its annulment.

Nepali Congress (NC) leader Purna Bahadur Khadka has filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court today.

The party has demanded that the general convention be declared illegal as the supporters of the special general convention had called the general convention against the rules and regulations and elected a new working committee.
