Sarlahi. Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has filed his candidacy from Sarlahi constituency-3.

Leader Surendra Lama proposed his candidacy while Bibek Mainali seconded it, according to Shrestha’s personal secretary Upadesh Yadav.

In the 2079 BS, CPN (Maoist Centre) candidate Narendra Sah was elected from this constituency defeating CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Narendra Sah by a narrow margin.

Former Defence Minister Hari Prasad Upreti of CPN-UML and Narendra Sah of Rastriya Swatantra Party have filed their candidacies from this constituency.
