Jhapa. Former Speaker Devraj Ghimire has filed his candidacy for the election of the House of Representatives from Jhapa constituency-2.

According to election officer Mahesh Khatri, she filed her candidacy at the election office of Arjundhara Municipality-2 on behalf of the CPN-UML.

Ekraj Karki seconded the candidacy while Chintan Pathak proposed it.

Likewise, former deputy speaker Indira Rana Magar has also filed her candidacy for the election to the House of Representatives from the same constituency.

According to election officer Mahesh Khatri, he filed his candidacy at the election office of Arjundhara Municipality-2 on behalf of Rastriya Swatantra Party.
