Kathmandu. A total of 49 candidates who had filed their candidacies for the election to the House of Representatives from across the country have withdrawn their candidacies.
Election Commission Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai has withdrawn his candidacy for 49 candidates.
Similarly, claims against 5 candidates have been opposed. He said that the candidacy of one of them has been rejected. So far, the candidacy of Resham Lal Chaudhary of Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal has been rejected.
