Ramechhap. The deadline for recruitment, selection and appointment of police personnel required for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4 has been extended. The recruitment committee of Ramechhap has extended the deadline for applying for the election police recruitment by two days till January 26 and 26.

District Police Chief Bhola Bhatta said that the deadline for re-application has been extended as there were not enough applications as per the vacancy opened earlier for the election. Although there is a requirement of 1,333 election police personnel in Ramechhap district, only 900 election police personnel who have applied for the election are being trained.

According to the Election Police Recruitment, Selection, Appointment and Mobilization Committee Integrated Work Procedure-2082 published earlier, the deadline for the election police has been extended till January 24 for those who have been exempted from appearing in the physical test, tolerance and written examination for the election police and those who want to apply for a new application.
