Kathmandu. Pawan Kumar Acharya has assumed office as the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sanima Bank. According to the decision of the board of directors of the bank, Acharya has been appointed as the CEO of the bank as per the decision of the board of directors of the bank held on November 10, 2002. He formally assumed office as per the decision.
Mr. Acharya has been rendering service in Sanima Bank for the past 21 years and has been giving a valuable contribution to the growth and consolidation of the bank. He holds a master’s degree from Pittsburg State University, USA and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from MNIT, Jaipur, India. In addition, he passed his SLC examination from Adarsh Vidya Mandir High School with board third division.
Prior to assuming the charge of CEO, Acharya was the senior deputy CEO of the bank. During his long career at Sanima Bank, he has managed more than 10 branches and responsibilities.
His main area of work focuses on loan evaluation, digitalization and project finance. He was also the Chairman of Sanima Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Sanima Bank.
Apart from the banking sector, Acharya has more than four years of professional experience as an engineer. He has also served as a visiting faculty for five years.
