Kathmandu. At present, there is some influence of the Westerly wind in Nepal. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there will be generally cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces towards the afternoon.

Light rain will occur in some places of the high hilly and mountainous region while light snowfall is predicted in a few places of the high hilly and mountainous region of Karnali Province and Gandaki Province. Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the remaining parts of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, there will be generally cloudy in the mountainous region including Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces tonight. Likewise, moderate snowfall and rain will occur in some places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and light snowfall and rain at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of the rest of the provinces.

Similarly, moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, and light rain at some places of the Tarai region. There are chances of thunder and lightning at some places of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
