Jumla. The Nagma-Gamgadhi road section of the Karnali Highway has come into operation at Kanakasundari rural municipality-1 in Jumla district.

The road was closed due to heavy snowfall. Information Officer of the Road Division Office, Saurabh Kumar Singh, said that the road has come into operation from today after removing snow from the area by sending dozers from the office.

As the road was closed for two days due to snowfall, daily essentials and development materials were stranded on the way at Gamgadhi Bazaar, the district headquarters of Mugu. According to Bhim Bahadur Bhandari, ward chairman of Kanakasundari rural municipality-1, the vehicles stranded due to the removal of snow are heading towards their destinations.
