Baitadi. Baitadi has received heavy snowfall since this morning. Sigas, Khodpe, Anarkholi and Dholyamod areas of the district received snowfall.

Raj Bahadur Ter, a local, said that the farmers here are confident that winter crops including wheat will be harvested after the snowfall. Normal life in the district has been affected due to excessive cold due to snowfall.

Heavy snowfall has also occurred in the high hilly areas of Baglung including Dhorpatan. It has snowed heavily since last night. The snowfall has turned the Dhorpatan valley and surrounding areas white.

Water has accumulated in the taps due to snowfall. It has become difficult for the locals to move around due to continuous snowfall. Along with Dhorpatan, Rig, Patihalne, Khanikhola and Niseldhor of Nisikhola have also received snowfall. Local farmers believe that winter crops will be harvested with snowfall.
