Nepali Congress members who have filed a writ petition for the reinstatement of the House of Representatives are going to the Supreme Court

Kathmandu. A delegation of Nepali Congress members who have filed a writ petition demanding the reinstatement of the House of Representatives is scheduled to go to the Supreme Court at 10:30 am tomorrow.

The Nepali Congress has already filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court demanding the reinstatement of the House of Representatives. Chief Whip of the dissolved House of Representatives, Shyam Kumar Ghimire, said that the NC lawmakers are preparing to go to the Supreme Court with a delegation as the final verdict is yet to be issued by the court even after a long time.

According to Ghimire, the delegation is preparing to go to the Supreme Court to draw the attention of the Supreme Court demanding an immediate judicial resolution on the issue of reinstatement of the House of Representatives to protect the constitution, democratic norms and people’s representation.
