Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that the country is at a historic turning point due to the courage, consciousness and determination of the martyrs.

In a message on the occasion of Martyrs Day today, President Bhandari has expressed heartfelt tribute to all the martyrs who laid down their invaluable lives for the cause of civil liberties and democracy.

“It is due to their courage, consciousness and determination that the country is standing at a historic turning point of change today. Salute also to the brave warriors who were martyred in the Genji movement in the hope of justice, equality, responsible governance and a bright future. ”

In his message, Prime Minister Karki stressed that the responsibility of building the state based on governing values, morality and respect to citizens should always be in the memory of every ruler.
