Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has released its election manifesto incorporating the economic policies of the state to uplift the economic condition of the poor people.
Organizing a press conference here today, party general secretary Netra Bikram Chandra ‘Biplav’ made public the manifesto for the upcoming election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4.
The party, which took part in the elections for the first time after coming to the peaceful politics, has resolved to end the capitalist, comprador and imperialist policies and culture and end the gap between the rich and the poor.
General Secretary Chand said that the private sector should not be allowed to indulge in arbitrarily fixing fees to ensure employment and ensuring employment opportunities.
He stressed on making agriculture self-reliant, increasing investment in science and technology, and attracting youths. The party has pledged to make the country prosperous by increasing trade and investment.
