He was rescued from Achham by a Nepal Army helicopter and was undergoing treatment at Grande Hospital in Kathmandu. He died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
According to the hospital, he died at 12:45 pm on Sunday. According to the hospital, Sitaula died due to brain haemorrhage.
