. The Supreme Court (SC) has annulled the interim order issued by Sharad Ojha, the chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA).
A division bench of Justices Nahakul Subedi and Tek Prasad Dhungana annulled the stay order issued by the Supreme Court on September 7.
“Although the writ petition is contended that the mandate given by the Government of Nepal to the probe committee is not in accordance with the law, it does not seem appropriate to issue an interim order to stay the decisions and activities carried out as per the report of the committee as the question should have been resolved at the time when the petition is at the end of the writ petition,” he said. Therefore, the interim order dated 2082-05-23 issued by this Court was not to be continued. Do so in accordance with the law,” the order said.
